My Son´s First Birthday Party At The Kindergarten
Today was the first party of my son at the kindergarten, actually it was his fourth birthday but the first (Actually his real birthday it is tomorrow, April 25th) that is not home . We were not there, this party was only for the kids, parents not allowed. It seems he was very happy with all the attention directed only to him, seems he is getting addict to be the star of the show. Just hope he do not get too use to it.
The actual management of the whole process (Party) was very tiresome, my wife want to do herself all the 120 Mini-Burgers for all the school kids, so I let her do it. She soon repent from all the hard work, but she also said she will do the marshmallows covered with white chocolate that took her another full day, she ended very tire. That´s why I told her that I prefer to pay to a professional and let them do all the work for us.
Now we learn that lesson, maybe too late. We had a problem with the cake, when they finally bring it to us and see it, my wife just hated it. It was a Mickey Mouse that looks worst than a rat and the tray was burned, very dirty work. So we return those cakes and bought some others from other place but now we need to fight a little to ask for the return of the money.
When we went to pick him up at the school he was so happy there, that he just ignore us and did not want to come with us, he want to stay playing with his other little friends. Anyway it seems all the effort was worth it, him been so happy and actually trying to socialize in his own way was the most rewarding experience I ever had.
Sometimes I think he can overcome all the problems associated with the Asperger Syndrome that the doctors tell me all the time.
